Abstract
La Tungiasis es un problema de salud en las comunidades pobres de África, India, Pakistán yAmérica Latina. Esta ectoparasitosis es causada por la mosca de arena (Tunga penetrans) , también llamada mosca jigge, pigue, nigua o pico.
