About us?
	Our journal is a non-profit organization that exists since 1980 as a scientific journal that publishes original and unpublished works related to medicine. We are part of the Association of Medical Students of Panama (AEMP) of the University of Panama. We have our address in the AEMP building on the Octavio Méndez Pereira Central Campus, Panama City.
	Our Vision
	To be a scientific medical journal characterized by the quality of its publication and the novelty of its topics, in accordance with international guidelines and that integrates all the participants in the medical field.

 

The Revista Médico Científica is a students organization that from the moment of its fundation had the objective to promote the field of scientific publishing in Panama. In this organization, there are students and profesionals from the different areas of the biomedical field.

The existance of our journal has been possible for 40 years thanks to the joint work of the editorial committees, its permanent and special advisers, and benefactors.

The journal Revista Médico Científica does not have either article submission charges or article processing charges (APCs).

The articles are published as a Creative Commons Reconocimiento-NoComercial-SinObraDerivada 4.0. They can be copied, used, disseminated, transmitted and publicly exposed, as long as the authors, the URL/DOI and the journal are cited, and they are not used for commercial purposes.
